Assigning and Completing Work

What format should I produce documents in?
A:

Unless stated otherwise, all documents should be submitted to the customer as a Rich Text Format file, Times New Roman 12 pt and double lined spaced.

If you're essay editing, the default style is APA unless the customer requests otherwise.
Q:
How do I find freelance writing work?
A:

All of our projects are advertised on the writer’s job board. You can self assign any of the jobs that are suitable for your skill set providing that you can complete them within the required time scale. Once you have taken a project you must complete it by the specified deadline. As soon as you have taken the writing project you can commence work. When you have finished you upload the completed document to our website.

Copywrite and Plagiarism

Who owns the copyright to the completed work?
A:

All work produced by you on behalf of the Writer’s Job Shop is owned in full by the paying customer. Copyright is retained by the customer and they own all rights to the final document.

Q:
What are the rules regarding plagiarism?
A:

All of the work produced by writers working on behalf of the Writer’s Job Shop is tested using anti-plagiarism software. Any work that contains un-quoted or non-referenced material will be rejected and no payment will be made for any work that is suspected to be plagiarized. Where the work of other authors has been used, writers should always ensure that appropriate references and citation is used. Any writer who is suspected of plagiarising the work of others will immediately have their account terminated.

Do you offer article rewriting services?
A:
We offer a comprehensive article rewriting services. Customers who order article rewriting are seeking a unique article that is derived from the content of the original article. Where possible, the rewritten article should be aligned with the customer's unique brand and writing style.
Q:
How do you check the quality of my work?
A:

All completed work is proofread by our qualified staff before being tested by anti-plagiarism software. If, at any point, we feel that the standard of writing produced by the writer is substantially below the required quality level we will reassign the order to another writer and you will not be paid for the project. Any writer who attempts to pass the work of others as their own will immediately have their account terminated.

Q:
What happens if the customer is not satisified with the quality of my work?
A:

All orders placed with the Writer’s Job Shop are granted unlimited revisions and customers are permitted 14 days within which to request a revision. In order for a revision request to be accepted it must detail a problem where the customer’s original instructions were not met. If you feel that this is not the case then you should raise the issue with the support department who will review the case. If, at any point, we feel that the standard of writing produced by the writer is substantially below the required quality level we will reassign the order to another writer and you will not be paid for the project.
